Samyang 8mm F3.5 Fisheye UMC II Camera Lens For Sony A APS-C (Black)

The Samyang 8mm F3.5 Fisheye UMC II APS-C Sony A Camera Lens features a detachable lens hood, it is otherwise the same (optically and mechanically) as the non detachable hood version.

This lens is built for APS-C, but it can also be used on full-frame cameras with the lens hood detached. On full-frame cameras, this lens gives a wide field of view, making it ideal for panoramas and 3D virtual tours.

The optical construction of the lens is 10 elements placed in 7 optical groups. The Samyang 8mm F3.5 Fisheye UMC II APS-C Sony A Camera Lens features an aspherical hybrid lens and the latest anti-reflective multi-coating (MC) to minimise flare and ghosting.

Fisheye lenses are also popular for special effects use where distortion and field curvature, exaggerated perspective or extreme depth of field are desired. Groups such as skateboarders turn to this lens for skate videos and photography to document their exciting moments.

The Samyang 8mm F3.5 Fisheye UMC II APS-C Sony A Camera Lens offers some of the best optics in a lens for its class, and exceptional value for money. A specialist lens, affordable to every photographer.
